Lesson Two Notes

Bold Charachtersation
We were given a charachter with a bold name and occupation.The name itslef hepled to build a charachter for example my charachter was called Jack Flash which gave the charachter a sort of cheeky and confident personality. We built our charachter as a 2D charachter.Brecht uses this to make the audience work less to figure out the charachters and question them. He wanted them to question and concentrate on the messages the play gives and question the things happening in the play.


Gestus
Gestus is a combination of gesture and attiude. You are always showing the audience your opinion and attiude. You do this by using gestures which reveal the attiudes and also using another charachter or something to interact with to reveal your attiude.
